First
online review of Oh Mummy!
The number one Doctor Who site on the web, 'Outpost Gallifrey', has
just posted this review of 'Pyramids of Mars' , with some very kind comments
concerning 'Oh Mummy'.
"The DVD's most surprising and entertaining special feature, though,
is the surreal spoof documentary 'Oh Mummy!'. The 'Doctor Who' DVDs have
featured the odd light-hearted feature before, but on the whole, they've
been fairly weak and inconsequential affairs, despite the best of intentions.
This one manages to buck the trend by being very funny indeed, and congratulations
are in order for Rob Hammond and Matt West for devising and producing
this little gem." Andrew Foxley

Tartsky & Slut trailer
In the next week, expect a trailer to another montobronto production to
appear! ‘Tartsky & Slut’, originally started in 1995 but
never completed - is currently being prepared for the internet in the
form of a 1 minute trailer! An affectionate homage to Starsky & Hutch
and countless other 70’s cop shows, ‘Tartsky’ was filmed
on beautiful 8mm film, capturing the gritty atmosphere and garish colours
of the period.
Untitled Hitman film
Montobronto have recently met with a potential actor interested in playing
the lead in an upcoming ‘hired killer’ short. Aiming to be
a cross between ‘The Mechanic’, ‘Day Of The Jackal’
and Le Samourai’, the film is expected to start shooting in the
second half of 2004 |
